What exactly is Ferta?
Ferta is a reproductive health optimization company helping individuals improve their fertility so they can conceive naturally. We work with couples who want to get pregnant without IVF, men and women addressing reproductive health issues, and anyone curious about their reproductive health status. Most clients work with us for several months, but we also offer one-time consults for those who simply want to talk to an expert and better understand their health.
How is this different from just seeing a regular doctor or fertility specialist?
Regular doctors and fertility specialists typically will suggest “trying” for 6-12 months before any investigation is done. They tend to be heavily biased towards IUI and IVF procedures. It’s a one-size-fits-all approach that often ignores the root causes of your fertility issues.
That is not what we do. We believe ALL men and women should know their reproductive health status before they ever start trying to conceive, and any possible issues should be comprehensively addressed immediately. Our philosophy is grounded in treating the body holistically, increasing the probability of a successful natural pregnancy, and leaving no stone unturned in investigation.
We conduct comprehensive testing that goes far beyond standard hormone panels, including examining your metabolic health, cellular function, stress response, and more.
Instead of one doctor with limited time, you get a team of dedicated experts working together on all aspects of your reproductive health. Most importantly, we focus on healing your body from the inside out rather than masking symptoms with medications.
Who are your services for?
We’re a perfect fit for you if you are:
- A woman looking to fix your fertility or hormonal issues.
- A man looking to improve your virility and sperm health.
- A couple looking to conceive (We work with each of you 1-on-1)
I don't want to get pregnant right now. Can I work with you?
Absolutely! We think of fertility as the sixth vital sign. Improving your overall hormonal health improves energy, sleep, mood, libido, skin and so much more. Addressing root causes of your hormonal imbalances will help you feel your best while preserving fertility for the future, should you ever want children.
How does your process work?
Our 4-step process includes:
(1) Root Cause Analysis with comprehensive testing,
(2) Personalized Treatment Protocol designed for your specific needs,
(3) Ongoing Support from our expert team
(4) Regular Monitoring with protocol adjustments based on your progress.
We work with clients for 6-12 months, with 6 months being the minimum commitment.
We’re a couple. Is it compulsory for both of us to sign up?
No, not at all. We recommend both of you to sign up because fertility is 50/50 and we want to give you the best chance possible. This is why we have a discounted couples program (even though both of you will receive all the benefits of 1-on-1 coaching individually). But if both of you aren’t ready to commit at this point in time, one of you can sign up and get started. You will have the option to add your partner to your plan at any time during your program.
What changes will I be expected to make in the program?
Your protocol will be personalized to your specific needs and lifestyle. You can expect recommendations around nutrition, movement, stress management, sleep optimization, and environmental toxin reduction. Some clients need more significant changes than others, depending on their starting point.
We focus on sustainable changes you can maintain long-term, not quick fixes or extreme measures. Our health coach will help you implement these changes gradually and provide support and accountability every step of the way.
Who will I be working with?
You’ll be working with a dedicated team of three specialists:
- A Fertility Specialist who leads your fertility optimization plan, analyzes your test results, and designs your personalized protocol.
- A Functional Nutritionist who creates your custom nutrition plan and supplementation strategy.
- A Health Coach who helps with implementation, serves as your accountability partner, and is cheering you on every step of the way.
All three experts work closely to make sure you get comprehensive, coordinated care without overwhelm.
Do you have payment plans?
Yes! We understand that investing in your health is a significant decision. We offer flexible payment plans that allow you to spread the cost of your program over several months. During your discovery call, we can discuss the payment options available to find a solution that works for your budget while still giving you access to the support you need.
We’ve tried IVF but it wasn’t successful. Can we still work with you?
Yes! We can help you increase your chances for the next round OR prepare your body to get pregnant naturally. Supporting your metabolic health, hormonal balance, and cellular optimization will improve your natural fertility and create an optimal environment for conception.
Why do you require a 6-month minimum commitment?
True healing takes time – especially when it comes to fertility. Here’s why:
- The egg maturation cycle takes 90 days
- The full sperm development cycle takes approximately 74 days
- Hormonal systems need time to rebalance (truer if you have longstanding issues)
- Addressing root causes requires a methodical approach to identify what’s working
You can expect to see initial improvements within the first 2-3 months, such as better energy, improved sleep and improved hormonal markers. However, the full benefits – especially for conception – typically require the complete 6-month protocol.
Think of it as an investment in your long-term health and fertility, not just a quick fix.
Will I need to purchase supplements and are they included in the program cost?
No, supplements are not included in the program cost. We’re mindful of budget concerns and will only recommend what we think is essential for you. We’ll also give you guidance on the most high-quality, cost-effective options depending on your location.
How do I get started?
Book a free discovery call through our website. During this call, we’ll discuss your specific situation, answer questions, and determine if our approach is right for you. If we’re a good fit, we’ll guide you through the next steps of joining our program.
I've already tried "everything" - how do I know this will work for me?
We hear this a lot! The truth is, most people who come to us thinking they’ve tried “everything” have actually just tried variations of the same approach–the conventional medical model that focuses on symptoms rather than root causes.
Our approach is fundamentally different because we identify and address the underlying factors that other practitioners miss–things like cellular inflammation, mitochondrial dysfunction, gut health issues, and environmental toxins that directly impact your fertility. We look at how all your body systems work together, not just your reproductive organs in isolation.
We’re confident in our approach because it’s based on the latest science in reproductive longevity. That said, we’ll be completely honest during your discovery call if we don’t think we can help your specific situation.
Do I need to be in the US to work with you, or can I join from anywhere?
You can join from anywhere in the world! Our entire program is delivered virtually through video consultations and messaging. Everything is accessible regardless of your location.
For testing, we can either work with labs in your area or arrange for at-home test kits to be shipped to you. Nutrition and supplement recommendations will be based on what’s available in your country.
What kind of testing do you do and is it included in the program cost?
Yes! The tests are included in your program cost. We conduct comprehensive testing that far exceeds standard fertility workups. Depending on your specific situation, this may include:
- Advanced hormone panels (not just the basics)
- Metabolic health markers
- Inflammatory markers
- Gut health assessment
- Thyroid function (comprehensive panel)
All tests will be discussed with you beforehand and we will be transparent about the benefits and cost of any particular test. Advanced diagnostics (eg. ultrasound, GI Map, DUTCH test, etc) are not included.
What if I have a specific medical condition like PCOS or endometriosis?
We have extensive experience working with conditions like PCOS, endometriosis, hypothalamic amenorrhea, fibroids, and more. In fact, Preethi was initially misdiagnosed with PCOS when she actually had hypothalamic amenorrhea, so we understand the nuances of these conditions firsthand.
Our approach is particularly effective for these conditions because we address the underlying imbalances causing your symptoms, not just the symptoms themselves.
We’ll create a protocol that’s specifically tailored to your condition while still taking a whole-body approach to your health.
How much time will I need to commit each week to follow the program?
The time commitment varies by phase of the program, but you can expect:
- Initial weeks: 2-3 hours per week for consultations, education, and implementation
- Ongoing: 1-2 hours per week for check-ins and protocol adjustments
- Daily: This will be up to you! You can spend as little as 20-30 minutes each day or up to 2 hours each day working on your health. We will work with you to figure out how much time you have to commit and work around those limits.
Our health coach will help you implement changes gradually in a way that works with your lifestyle and schedule.
